Has there ever been any discussion on this blog about NPG Records itself, or, for example, Dave Grohl's Roswell Records Inc. --- ---- artist-owned record labels that were born from the frustration of feeling screwed over by major-label contracts, i.e. the artists themselves really trying hard to protect their artwork and their income?

There's probably some "Legal Blog for Songwriters" that discusses this kind of stuff --- where can you recommend I look for such discussion?
