I did n't take it as preaching "the God is Love" is present on the Lovesexy CD. Religous themes in Prince's are nothing new, I remember Prince during the Lovesexy tour singing, "God is alive!" God as always been a large part of Prince's concept.

You don't go to listen to a minister and then walk out saying, I wish that guy would stop talking about God and such. Do you?

Great version, but mixing religious comments with a NPGMC commercial totally blew it.

Prince ain't a minister. I have no problem with the "God Is Love" part, but that isn't what I am talking about. I also didn't appreciate the NPGMC comments. Some people happen to be Prince fans and can't afford a hundred bucks...never mind, that's another thread.
