I know....I haven't listened to the B-side hits in a loooong time....The energy in this song is amazing. One of the best pop songs ever!

Do any musicians know simple chord tabs for this song? (I only know about 10 chords on the guitar...LOL...but it works for some songs!)

lol i only know 10 chords too. I guess we're going to have to keep practicing hard until we're good enough to play it, good luck!

For the rhythmpart of the verse try C5 - G5 - F5 (all palm muted)

He did it on the guitar a few times at the o2, just him though, acoustic style, and once again at grand Palais in 2009.

Is Sign O the Times a "movie" or or a live concert? I have a live concert, but a lot of people are referring to it as a movie....

It was released originally in cinemas when the Sign O the times tour was cancelled after only a few shows.

The proper term is "concert movie" I guess, there is some dialogue and acted scenes.

The solo from that is one of my favorite moments watching Prince. I don't know why but it gives me shivers every time I hear it.

I thought it was on the same level as his solo during the George Harrison tribute at the R&R Hall o' fame.

Both are amazing.

The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

LOL..yeah, I guess there is some... OMG, when Prince is leaving the stage singing "Hot Thing" and he looks at Cat and puts the mic down by his crotch, then licks his two fingers and rubs the mic like it's a male vajay-jay....so amazing....

I still want to learn this on acoustic guitar...I've got three chords from a nice musician but would love the whole song (tabs- EZ) if anyone knows...biggrin
