A serious question. Regarding what Manuela posted on her Facebook, about hoping to never see him on 20/20 ranting like Charlie Sheen, plus other things people have said over the years regarding things he's said and done that seem a little "off" I have to wonder if he could legitmately have mental health issues. Also, you know, the true genius's sometimes are crazy and he is a genuis musically, what do you guys think?

Before we carry on, can you define what you mean by 'mental health issues' please. I want to be clear on where you are coming from beofre I have a brain thinking session about this topic.

Well, just various things I've read on here and in different publications; like, if he DID lock Sinead O'Conner in a closet- I've had beef with people but I've never locked another in a closet- I think I also read that he threatened to beat her up- Not normal behavior for a man to a woman-

I also remember reading in Blender or some magazine, years ago about some artist (I THINK it was Paul Westerberg- lead singer of the Replacements- but I will have to double check and get back to you) who was renting space at Paisley Park to work on an album and in the middle of working on his music , Prince came into the booth and introduced himself, then began asking him about music he had made in the 80's or 90's, and asking him why he cursed in his music and all this other crazy stuff, the guy was confused as to what in the hell was happening and then Prince kicked him out of Paisley Park, even locking him out before he could get all his stuff. I mean, this is the guy who wrote "Pussy Control" and "Bob George" (which is crazy violent) and talked about f&%$ing his sister. And then the paranoid stuff, Chemtrails, and just his behavior in general, sometimes he seems a little nuts. I will research that article I'm referring to and try to post it.

I can't believe anyone would act as if it were so far fetched for him to have mental health issues- I don't mean that he's WAY CRAZY- you can have mental health issues on a small scale- But I agree with what you said about Manuela- I think she's awful and had a plan from the beginning- I just posted about her on the 'associated' forum-

Don't believe all the gossip and assumptions you read on here. Much of it is just speculation, gossip, hearsay from fans. Besides, no one here could possibly answer either of the questions posed on both of your threads, because I doubt anyone here knows him personally to give you a definite answer. So you may have to leave it at that.

Right. Sorry for pissing people off by asking this and the question about him paying his bills, I was just wondering. And you're right, no one knows officially. And also, just because someone has mental health issues it doesn't mean they are a bad person, that wasn't what I was getting at. I love Prince.

The problem around here for the most part is...if a topic isn't praising Prince to the highest degree, it gets shot down with accusations and contempt. Then attitudes and egos come into play so much so...that nothing ever seems to actually get the chance to be THOUGHT about.

There are people that come here from all walks of life, with lots of their own knowledge and experiences that offer a lot of insight into a great many different things. That's what makes for interesting discussions and one of the reasons the Org has lasted and outlasted as long as it has!

Unfortunately, that aspect just doesn't work well when it comes to anything actually relating to Prince because some folks just cannot seem to handle that!

But it's cool, it's all good, and I respect your opininon, even if you don't agree with some of us on here about it.

Thank you! Agreed! I don't know why everyone gets so pissy when someone asks what alot of his fans are thinking- I'm just asking because I've heard things that seem a little "off" to me and I have to wonder. When his ex wife posts something like that on her FB you have to wonder what happened behind the scenes. And I'm thinking crazy because I'll never for one second believe it's drugs. I just do not believe Prince does drugs (even though people on here have posted that he has/ does) so the only other option is maybe he's a bit unstable. And me asking why he doesn't pay his bills- I'm seriously wondering because I keep seeing threads like, "What time is it? Time for another lawsuit!" I didn't post it- But you're right, God forbid you ask something that doesn't see him in a glowing light- geesh-
