Two questions concerning: Vibrators.

1. I got a Vanity 6 song called Vibrator, where does it come from and when was it recorded?

2. I also got a little track called Vibrator Talk. It is about 35 seconds In a sort of speech in which a woman comes to Prince (who acts like a woman) and she asks him for some batteries for her body massager. He laughs and after
he ridicules her, he gives her the batteries...and she walks away happy as a puppy! Same question here...where does it come from???

Just joking. This song also shows up as one track on The Jewel Box I bootleg. It was probabbly recorded around 81-82. It was never officially released. There is also a vanity moaning part at the end of the song which was later used on Prince's Come album from 1994.

Okay...Days Of Wild doesn't mention it neither of them...!! That is why I ask!...because I am going through the Days Of Wild book year by year...and listing all the songs he wrote that specific year...

If anyone else has got more info...keep it cumming!!

Yeah i've got these, its surprisingly good quality and hilariously funny. The cd was a boot called Dirty Mind by Kicks and it had climax, Lisa, plus a 50min song called Billy's Sunglasses.
Its prob. 1981 ish but the talk sequences could almost be from the parade era as he sounds similar in his impressions, still prob a bit earlier though

Well...I discovered that it was recorded in august 1983..during the sessions for the second Vanity 6-album. He also recorded 17 Days. Sex Shooter, Promise To Be True and G-Spot (later re-recorded for Jill Jones)

This IS a very funny track; probably the campest thing Prince has ever done - I don't know how he gets away with it. "Puh-lease!"

I played it for a (non-fan) mate, once, and he was absolutely P*SSING himself with laughter! So I followed it with Sheena's 'Sugar Walls'. My mate couldn't believe his ears.

Tracks like this give a real insight into P's humour, I think. Funny little fellow.
