Prince clearly has created a reality for himself. I find it odd that a man/ woman would at some point stop wearing cloths like everyone else. Like his style in the 90s, There's a difference in trying to be strange for image reasons to actually being strange. I'm sure all His songs make since to him and that paints a odd picture of a person. If given enough money and fame would you indulge in your own pshycy like Prince has? Did his ex-wives decide that Prince World was to backwards and bizzaro and ran for the hills? Trendsetter or freak? It's a thin line isn't it?

I think everyone would create their own world if given the opportunity. Certainly, I do to an extent; My home is filled with artwork, music, things I'm interested in and I pay no attention to things that don't interest me. We all do. We dress the way we want, do our make up and hair the way we like, interact with people we choose, we all live in our own worlds, just on a much smaller scale.

P.S. I don't think he's being strange for strange sake. Why would you want to dress and be like everyone else? Am I suppossed to get fake boobs and use self tanner until I'm orange since that's the popular look nowadays? I hardly think so. I think it's sad if you follow the norm.

You are not to far off with this and I believe we as human beings all do this. Especially, when we were children. When we grow up we literally put away childish things. I on the other hand still have my love of a lot of the things I loved as a child and now have a son to share that with and KEEP that childish nature. In terms of the psyche behind what Prince created with Love4oneanother or the aura of 'New World' likened to the lyrics sand in that song. His lyrics speak VOLUMES about where his head is. We all know P is 'well past grown' and very intelligent and well read. Some of the things he's said in interviews have me think he's pulling the interviewers leg or just being himself.
