Does Prince and/or the audience get more out of his screams and noices? Does it make for a better concert the more you scream/responde to his requests for particpation?

I think it makes for a better concert. Always cool to hear the "prince yelp." It is also a way for Prince fans to recognize another fan when you're out somewhere in public...I hear it from time to time at parties.
