NPNY Radio "Princecast" Episode 4 After a little hiatus, we're finally back!
In this episode of NPNY Radio, Derek Kelly, Amil Dave, Andrew Stanger, and Zaheer Ali wrap-up their comprehensive coverage of Prince’s “Welcome 2 America” New York shows in January and February, including opening acts Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings & Cee-Lo Green. Zaheer gives a detailed report on the February pre-concert press conference that announced Prince’s gifts of $1 million to Harlem Children’s Zone and $250,000 each to Uptown Dance Academy and American Ballet Theater; and Andrew gives his report on the only aftershow Prince performed for the general public in New York, and shares his funny Prince encounter story. We close out with our resident angry Prince fan Richard Kriheli who explains his dampened enthusiasm for Prince’s recent live shows.
