NIGHTCLUBS using prince songs as club names Just wondering - musing... In the Hampton Roads, VA area and in Detroit, MI There are night clubs that uses Prince song titles as club names. In Cheasepeake, VA there's a club called Purple Rain. In Detroit, MI there is a club called Erotic City. Are these clubs ACTUALLY affiliated with Prince? Or are they just riding his coattails???

Purple Rain is a stupid name for a nightclub, because if you google Purple Rain & nightclub the only results you get are going to redirect you to First Ave in MPLS. That was a smart bar owner. Lol. | |

They were not doubting you, goofball. They were just commenting about how dumb it would be to name a nightclub after Purple Rain because the movie is based within a nightclub mostly. So if someone were to pass by it and come home and google "Purple Rain nightclub", most of the results would be about First Avenue, the nightclub in Purple Rain. | |
