I found this track yesterday, it's a long 8 minute track that sounds like a remix/extended version of Sheila E's "Too Sexy" (B-side of "The Belle Of St. Mark"). I didn't recognise any of the vocalists. Does anyone know whether Prince had anything to do with it or whether it is just a remix by someone else?

It's an Ultimix. It features Too Sexy in it and some jester decided to change the name of the track.

I remember that group "Ready For The World" "Oh Sheila" Video...it actually reminded me of a "Jesse Johnson" type song at that time and oh Lawd! those Jheri Curls...ha!ha!

yes prince did sue them, oh, sheila was an ode to sheila e that prince never intended on releasing, in fact, the original lyrics were scribbled on a napkin at first ave and promptly thrown in the trash. rumour has it, ready for the world frontman witnessed this, recovered the discarded napkin and the rest is history. unfortunately for prince, his suit was dismissed as the lyrics on the napkin were never copyrighted...

The best thing that can be said about this song is that it sucks!!!I remember that album.It was heard at every dance and every car that a couple was making out in had that or their Do Me Baby copy song.The title escpaes me,thankfully.
I remember this girl I knew in middle school went down on the lead singer after their show.I was so shocked.She was so excited about it!!I was asking her to please explain to me how that was anything of accomplishment.I really got on her about self esteem.I doubt it ultimately helped,but it did get her very upset.That is until I gave her my paciphier.heh heh heh..I'm joking!!That really bothered me that he did that and was so proud.
