which is your favourite Prince hairstyle? My personal favourites appear in the Raspberry Beret video when he wears a short cropped hairdo, and the plaited dreads look on R2tjf sleeve cover. Worst hair in Batman video! | |

Matt  i miss the short hair. i'd be lying if i said i didnt like the curls during D&P and previously during PRain, but he doesnt seem to want to go back to being "ol scragglehead"--although i don't recall anyone ever calling him that...? The hair on the cover of D&P...and the long hair from the cover of graffiti bridge...The RUTJF braids look like they were fastened w/ garbage bag twist ties IMHO. | |

I was quite keen to his "Cherry Moon" short hair look. He was hotter than Phoenix in summer!
Other great looks... -Dirty Mind era -'Rasberry Beret'...bangs look good on him -'Sign O The Times' I liked what he had going on there...braids w/ ribbons... -The 'typhoon' do he had during D&P was nice...until it morphed into the Act I and II tour look...eecch! Every minute of last night is on my face today.... | |

You can't really go past the typhoon of the early 90s. I'm not sure if it infiltrated broader society, but I do remember a kid at school in about 96 sporting a typhoon. It wasn't a good look for him, but I think it worked for Prince. | |
