I believe this is the one I missed b/c I was too "scary" to go alone & chose to wait for my friend to go w/ me - she never showed & from what I hear I missed the gig of a lifetime... NEVER again will I miss this man - fuck a friend, all I need is HIM on the mic...

i dont know WHAT this thing is with people who won't go2 a prince gig alone.

my god,ive been 2 concerts in melbourne,alone,but u end up talking 2 people,find someone u have something in common with & maybe even end up making friends.
anyway,the main reason you're going is PRINCE.
make the most of it.

I didn't attend this aftershow,but I went to the 'Act 1' show that took place on this night in San Francisco.As my friend and I were driving home,we were too busy checking out all the gorgeous ladies...lol...so we didn't even KNOW about an aftershow

Last month while on holiday in San Fran i went to the DNA club 2 check it out!

Took me a few hrs before it clicked where i actually was - listening to that damn fine boot all these years and then finally being in the same room!!!

I jumped up on stage and just stood there...i'm sure everyone thought i was pissed but i just soaked it up..knowing that i was standing on holy ground!!!

I was on my way home from the main gig on the golden gate bridge when i heard via the radio that he was playin' there. The rumor was that he was to sick to play, his throat was giving him trouble as you can hear on that boot but the man wanted to play so bad he played anyway, one of my greatest regrets. I used that show as a launching pad to never take the 1st answer i hear as the gospel as whether or not he's playing, of course nowadays they just announce it at the venue..
