Plus,,deserting WB was a bad idea becoz if he didn't desert them I'd have seen his new videos instead of Madonna's, add the JW drama that is ruining his music(there's no guts, rawness, edge, darkness in his music anymore). I was hungering for a new Prince release in early '99, and what do I get? 1999: The New Master. That kinda pissed me off, because it truly sucked.
Also, back in '94 I was a brand new Prince fan (I was just a kid, and uneducated in Prince-World). I bought the Beautiful Experience CD thinking it was a full-fledged new Prince album, when all it really was was a crappy ep with 7 mediocre versions of a mediocre song. That made me kinda mad too! | |

the whole cock up over the gold experience prince has a global hit with TMBGITW and then releases the Come album!!! not the gold experience ok so apparently there was hassle with warners but as far as i can see that was the begining of the end for him as a major figure in the music world The gold experience released after TMBGITW and promoted properly would have been his biggest seller since purple rain. I mean when i went to wembly arena in late 94 i think it was, he had a packed house on the back of TMBGITW he then proceeded to play the gold experience album which hadnt BEEN RELEASED and 80% of the audience were scratching there heads cos it was all new to them. the same concert with the gold experience in pples record collection already would have been sensational!! okay im getting into a whole different arguement here but thats something that pissed ME off | |

bad albums (Batman, GB, almost everything since leaving WB) bad movies (GB, UTCM) announced albums that never see the light of day shows that are cancelled at the last minute suing his fans and fanzines preaching about stuff he makes up on the spot not releasing any more B-sides! the failure of the NPGMC his magazines that never came out and the fact that I never got the CB set that I paid for. I am still waiting for it. I called them recently and they said, "oh that was an old company. We aren't associated with them anymore" That was all I could think of right off the top | |
