I'm trying to gather positive Prince quotes for a project that I'm working on. Currently I have:

"There's always a rainbow at the end of every rain." - from Papa

and

"Don't ever lose your dream." - from All My Dreams

I'm trying to avoid quotes that are overly sectarian or political.

If anyone has others that they could share I would greatly appreciate it.

Each period (- style, image, ...) has it's own charm and, although the Lovesexy state of mind shaped what most of us identify with typical Princedom and seems to be the most productive, I also like the conservative cockiness of The Rainbow Children days. I don't necessarily "agree" with those views, but there was a certain sincerity and confidence present in those TRC days that is quite similar to his outburst of out-of-the-norm world-views from 1988, just much different in essence.

What I appreciate most about the 2000-2001 material, however, is that musical sincerity and confidence that is so similar to his heyday years. The music doesn't only say "I do it because I can" like it did a couple of years prior to TRC; it says "I do it because I want to" and that is when his records become the most memorable, in my opinion.
