Pop Culture

After reading The Death Of Cool:Running On Empty, I came across this commentary:

Much ado about conservatives and pop culture

WND
by Ilana Mercer
"The market does no more than offer an aggregate snapshot
of the trillions of subjective preferences enacted by
consumers. ... (2/5/03)

How do you feel about pop culture?

Thanks for the article. I read it. It did use the word "conservatives" as a stereotype. I don't necessarily classify myself as one; though, I have many conservative (as well as liberal) beliefs. But I do believe that whatever stereotype people may seem to fall under, we are still individuals (well, most of us anyway) who have our own thoughts and actions. I don't think most of us appreciate being defined and analyzed only by one particular group (of the many?) we might fall into.
