Nah, I'm not absolving Prince 100%. I'm just saying there's always different sides to the story and we haven't heard Prince's yet, ya dig? I'm also open to the possibility that he simply feels the amount they are seeking is inflated, and is willing to pay, but not as much as these guys are looking for. We just don't really have a balanced view of the whole thing, there's pieces of the puzzle missing and it's all getting filtered through the media anyway. And on that basis I think people are being a little unfair bashing Prince so much.

Um, did he perform? No? Then he should give it all back. That's the difference between right and wrong, fyi.

It's not that simple. They are asking for damages as well. Right and wrong is subjective.

Right and wrong is never subjective, bro.

right and wrong are the very essence of subjectivity.

in this case, Prince was as wrong (for me!) as he could EVER be.

Ok, well, I guess we can agree that neither of us know what really happened behind the scenes. The difference between us is that I'm open to the idea that both parties may have been at fault...you blame everyone BUT Prince...and that's just not rational.

The guy settled the court case. Then he didn't pay the settlement. Then he didn't pay the lawyers. In the last year alone, there have been like 6 of these things.

I know you just love to blather on and on and you are in love with your own words that amount to nothing, but I think it's time to hang it up and realize that debate is just not for you.

No, it is always wrong to steal someone's money. It's never going to be okay to steal, no matter how you slice it. No, if Prince owes the guy money because he settled the case, then he definitely needs to pay it and that isn't even a question.

The judgment is already there. It's a foregone conclusion. Now he needs to pay up because that is the right thing to do. Very distiniguished from the wrong thing, which would be to keep the money.

Seriously, like it's some coincidence? And THIS track? Nu-uh.

I agree with what others have said, the next live show will have a few lines from Extra Loveable tossed in - expecting anything more is wishful thinking.

What episode is this from?! It's killing me.

I'm not really sure! Any Seinfeld fans in the house?! biggrin

first i thought it was from the episode with the pezz dispenser at the piano recital,

but elaine isn't sitting next to him and there's no pezz dispenser to be seen, lol.

not sure what this would be from beyond that. perhaps it's from one of the shows

with kenny banya. i seem to remember seinfeld going to see banya do some new

material after he kept bugging him to see his show. this seems like the kind of

reaction jerry would have to hearing banya do some horrible material and even

including jerry in the show.

lol

I'm guessing it's not actually a clip from "Seinfeld". Jerry looks more bald (balder?) and fatter here... Maybe a guest part in "Curb"...?

Great song doesn't always = hit.

I wouldn't be surprised if this new vid goes viral and makes the song a hit.

People are definitely paying attention to it.

I agree it COULD be some kind of internet only hit since an official release is probably out of the question. Prince would probably NEVER give permission for an official release. NO WAY the creator of this cover is ever going to make some money off of this.....

So want this to happen badly it is one of my favourites but 25 minutes sounds very long...I'll believe it when I see it, for now.

Dr Funkenberry is usually pretty good with accurate infomation so this could well happen.

Hmm. Prince is “Extra Loveable”…and we know that you know that. So is the doc as well.

We can only guess PRINCE is not worried about new lawsuit claims. (What? Didn’t think WE would mention it? tsk. He is not worried bout, we ain’t worried bout it.)

Perhaps he is on a high with Misty Copeland being his “date” to Elton John’s Oscar party…..that we did not even hear if Prince even had an Oscar party…..shoot, we would be on a high too. A girl the doc dated in high school was a former ballerina n she was quite bendy. Ahem. ‘Scuse me…..

Wherever PRINCE plays next, make your way there!!!!!

We just got word that he got a 25 minute live version of the bootleg classic “EXTRA LOVEABLE” that he is about to unleash. What do you know about that PURPLE FUNK?????

(I know I would love to hear a sample of that 25 minutes, PRINCE. Ahem. Just putting it out there…..)

With PRINCE bringing out jams like “Extra Loveable” the party is going to go on for days ya’ll!!!!!!!

BTW, do we still have permission to tweet during a show that has “Extra Loveable” in it?-Dr.FB
