I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. Herbie has covered Prince before, and they reportedly hung out many times during the 3121 LA house parties.

Now to flip the script, I'd like to see Prince play in Herbie's band too.

I'd like to see him do an unplugged style set with the following all girl line-up

Sheila E. - Drums

Rhonda Smith - Bass

Wendy Melvoin - Guitar

Lisa Coleman - Keyboards

Candy Dulfer - Saxophone

.

If it was a show like W2A I would do this line-up:

Prince

Sheila E.

Andre Cymone

Dez

Lisa

Wendy

Dr. Fink

playing the pre 90's music

Prince

Mike B.

Sonny T.

Morris Hayes

Tommy B.

Levi Seacer Jr.

playing the 90's music

Prince

John B.

Sonny T.

Levi Seacer Jr.

Morris Hayes

Renato Neto

Rev. Scott

playing the 2000 and forward music

This would be a 3hr show playing old, new and the obscure music we've never heard live. [img:$uid]http://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/3.gif[/img:$uid]

Now this would be like the ulitimate experience for a Prince fan. Old Prince fans and new ones as well. As long as Mr. Hayes is included then it is alright with me.

But why?

Especially Boni, have you any idea what her vocals would sound like right now?

Lol!! I would assume her vocals would sound "angelic" these days, wouldn't you?? lol

I also question the addition of Najee. Really? Najee?? Give me a fuckin' break. If this is their "dream lineup", they need to wake up, go back to sleep, and start all over again.

Jerome, if there absolutely HAD to be one, should be the only dancer there. Maybe Cat too, if she's really going to bring it! No backing vocals are needed because the band can do their own vocals. They're more than capable.

It's MY Dream Line-up!!! Loved Najee's saxophone playing and Boni was a beast with her vocals. (RIP)

Prince was great playing off of Jerome and Cat on stage, while Geneva brings tons of sex appeal and modern dance moves.
