Whats different about today vs yesterday on the net when it comes to Prince topics?

I was just thinking how peoples behaviors and attitudes change over the years. Including Princes. What are some things you recall back in the early days of the internet (90's) that differ now when it comes to Prince?

I notice these things:

Back in the day if you even thought about putting a thread that asked, "Is Prince gay." It would be taken down in a heart beat and your account locked. Well maybe not that severe but it seems now a days that question is openly asked and left up as a thread.

Sadly the part thats different is the reluctance to put up content that is nowed owned by Prince but is legit. Content like him being interviewed.

It some ways we have moved foward, in other ways we have went backwards.

What changes have you noticed?

It used to be fun talking about him. It no longer is as much fun because A) he's done his best to curb it by being such a prick about it, and B) we've already discussed everything there is to discuss. It just gets a minor update every year or two if he decides to release an album, tour, or sue us.

It's been some years that you can't see a thread really worth reading over here.

Seems that the few people who were in for interesting discussion have gone.

And there's a really worrying trend: I've noticed that the newer the user the bigger the nonsense.

Seriously, I know of people who just come here to check out how damn crazy some can be.
