Darling Nikki,Nasty Girl,Erotic City

Prince teases the audience with playing

samples of Darling Nikki,Nasty Girl,Gett Off.

The audience reacts the best when he plays this

hoping he will play the whole songs.

Why do you think Prince do this?

Do you think he tests the fans

to see the reactions

because he will maybe perform those songs

in the near future?

Why playing a sample if not playing the whole song?

I don't think he hides it very well.

well duh, he can't really change who he is. He can only pretend to, but on the inside he is still the same person

Nasty Girl and Erotic City are 2 of the funkiest grooves he's made. Lyrical content aside, those songs are funky as hell. And we all know that Prince tests positive for the funk!

I think leaving that crazy cult would be a damned fine way for Prince to change who he is.

I agree. I think Erotic City is too funky and he knows it. So he plays it, but he won't sing the lyrics since they don't fit his religious beliefs. Also, he can't come up with new lyrics because it would be too weird. I think all we can hope for at this point is an instrumental. But he won't play it too long because the audience will start singing the lyrics.

I'll take him only playing samples, never playing them or only playing them in instrumental form 100% of the time over him making lyrical changes. Thank god for that...
