Does Anyone Know Why... May be silly, but I've been watching all my Purple Rain concert boots and have been wondering if anyone knows why Fink and Lisa always switched sides when performing "Baby I'm A Star."
Someone's gotta know...was it just for fun, or what? She has robes and she has monkeys, lazy diamond studded flunkies....

Never noticed that before. Probably just the keyboards required for the parts they were each playing in that song. Would be easier to swap bodies than to move the keyboards I guess Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

Watching ALL your Purple Rain boots?
Well, if I'm correct there are like 3 vids circulating: Atlanta, Houston, and Syracuse (plus the Roadhouse rehearsal).
Or am I wrong? | |

I've always wondered that too. Besides the above mentioned examples, they did it at the show I went to and on the Grammy performance. The answer is probably what toejam said. TRUE BLUE
