I was wondering: Where in the world is it possible to buy the song "Beautiful Strange" today? I thought it was featured on Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic but then suddenly I discovered it was on an album called Rave IN2 The Joy fantastic. Extremely weird and annoying! However, I don´t see any solution to where they might have that song available for buying.

PS! Is there any word about a new Prince online store where we could buy the Prince music we would like to get? i know about his previous NPG Music club but those days are over I guess.

Sorry, but the only way to purchase Beautiful Strange would be to buy the Rave In2 cd.

Both versions of Beautiful Strange are out of print, so eBay, Amazon marketplace, the org Marketplace or the like are your best bets to own official copies. Of course, you can download these for free - but don't ask where/how in these forums.

just download it, if i could legally buy it, i would, but right now we dont have a choice with this song

when you say they are both out of print do you mean there was a physical release for the 1st version or just an npgmc download?

Just the download.

Physical copies of Rave In2 are not that hard to find, it is rare, but there are copies on Ebay quite regularly.

Of course, prices vary wildly, but i picked up an extra copy in near mint condition not 3 weeks ago for £16, but then another one sold on Ebay just last weekend for over £60, you just have to be patient, and pick your moment.

To my knowledge, there wasn't a downloadable version. I think "both" versions means the VHS version and the one on "Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic".

HI! I agree with you so much. I would have bought it if there was an easy way to do so but, like you say, there isn´t. That means that if we are going to get the song at all we HAVE to do it illegally. If Prince had only created a Prince shop page where we could buy all of his stuff he would´ve made money on everything since I believe a lot of people would buy it.

I guess it was a bit extreme use of words, I agree. However, I´m trying to find all the right sites 4 this, but I haven´t been in the Prince world as long as most of you have and I´m still looking around and discover new things all the time. So it was just a frustrating comment from not finding a song that I wanted. But it´s alright now
