Prince told Tavis Smiley that "Steve" is a major record company's executive who told him about how majors cheat musicians with royalties (IIRC).

I was thinking Steve Fargnoli (one of 3 managers), one of his very few closest ppl in 80s

yeah that is what I assumed too. But you know prince got (or was threatened with) sued by Steve over "jughead" as when they split there was a no trash talking clause. I wonder if it had a sunset or if it is still in effect. If it is in effect then Steve would have a case.
