Have you seen that show Cash Cab where contestants have a chance to answer trivia questions for cash on the way to their destination?

Today one of the questions was: "Which Prince album included the hits LET'S GO CRAZY and WHEN DOVES CRY? The twenty something year old contestants had to do a street shout to get the answer

The got 3 strikes before they got to the fifty dollar questions, so there weren't that bright anyway.

Isn't that the show that they play on Channel [V]?

If so, it sort of makes sense that they don't know because Channel [V] thinks that a song from 2008 is old music.

How come most people my age don't know older music unless it ends up in Guitar Hero? They play a lot of older songs on Music MAX.

That music channel (Channel V) actually does think that a song from 2008 is old. And they very rarely play songs older than that these days, I don't think I've heard anything before 1997/1998 on Channel [V] in the last few years.

Sorry, just found out there's more than one version of this Cash Cab show.

I saw this and could Not believe they did not know the answer, their 'street shout out' hesitated too, but lucky for them they knew it!

They have had Prince as clues on Jeopardy! too. Please let me get that lucky when I get on one of these game shows~
