i think mplsound is more considered his genre.. isnt it? npg is a good band name though. i doubt hell change it. hes been using it for a long time. wasnt the reason he dropped the "revolution" thing because he completely changed his sound, band, and style? hasnt he been using playing with the same bunch of people ever since? and i think.. the revolution was all about being young and rebellious. he grew out of that.. so thats the reason why he changed. but hes not growing out of the whole npg thing.

I thought the rainbow in "rainbow children" referred to skin tones not race.

since the band changes so much lately (different people playing on different dates

of the same tour even, or special 'bands' for one off gigs etc) he shouldn't call the

band anything.

perhaps just "prince and the band" but on record it's already just "prince" so

How about they not have a name since they don't have anything to add to the production and are merely stand-ins.

I would give his backup vocalists cred cuz the three of them work well together. But the rest of the band is Yawn City population: Me.
