THIS SONG AIMED AT PRINCE? WASN'T PRINCE SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE VIDEO BEFORE WESLEY SNIPES?

AND WHO CAME UP WITH THE BRIGHT IDEA OF PUTTING PRINCE IN A VIDEO WITH MJ?

WHAT IF PRINCE DECIDED TO DO THE VIDEO?

Actually, it was the idea of Yoko Ono, who also directed the video.

MJ and Prince wrote the lyrics together, they were aimed at Chick Huntsberry, Prince's former bodyguard - because he'd sold out Prince to the tabloids, and had tried to steal MJ's best friend (Bubbles) away from him.

In the end, Prince decided to withdraw his duet-version of 'Bad' (just as with 2010deluxe), and asked his good friend Wesley Snipes (who just to be in the Game Boyz) to portray him in the video. He promised Wesley he would get him the 'Morpheus' part in The Matrix, but unfortunately, after 'Graffiti Bridge', Prince lost his influence in Hollywood.

Prince was right: the album was called 'Bad' because 'Horrible' didn't fit in the record sleeve...

^^ Bad is a brilliant pop album......... imo.

Sign "O" The Times is better though, this album is art.

But........ The Joshua Tree won best album of the year.

Damn, Sign is just perfect....... should have won with a mile.

The real reason Prince chose not to participate is he was afraid it would spark a Gary, Indiana/Minneapolis, Minnesota rivalry along the lines of the East Coast/West Coast 'beef.'

Nobody wanted Tito Jackson driving around shooting at Billy Sparks.
