People have been talking about under/overrated albums... What about songs? There are a lot of great songs that haven't recieved much recognition due to the albums their in. For example, Muse 2 the Pharoah. Not the fan's favorite album but that song is incredible. There are also many overrated songs, such as Take Me with U. It definatley isn't the best, yet it's a classic. Share your opinions  And together we'll stare into silence. | |

Sticky Like Glue is crazy good! The whole album is a friggin' gem. It's been a while since I've dound a whole album I can play straight through. .......Oh-oh-oh, by the way...He plays guitar.

I wouldn't define anything on 20Ten as "crazy good", but it's a decent album.

Awww! it's a good album. It's not Purple Rain but I really like it. I haven't liked a whole album by Prince in quite some time. But, I think it's because I like the 80's feel of it. Kinda "vintage Prince". But, that's my opinion. I like the music more than the lyrics really. *shrug* .......Oh-oh-oh, by the way...He plays guitar.

My biggest problem with 20Ten is that there doesn't seem to be any "hooks" in any of the songs. Without thet hooks, the songs seem to just go on and on. Sure, the album is good, but I'll take Lotus/MPLS or 3121 over 20Ten anyday. It's just my personal preference. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

lol ever heard "Everybody Loves Me"? Silly song, but fun to listen and to sing to, at least 4 me
But I love the album. Plenty of excellent material on there, my Fav "Walk In Sand", then "Future Soul Song" Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!! | |

I'm not a fan of "Everybody Love Me," but I LOVE "Walk In Sand." That song sounds out of place on 20Ten to me. I think it was recorded for something else (like Lotus or MPLSound). **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

These threads usually thrive on negativity. It's probably because there are hundreds of tracks that could be called underrated and everyone could name out their own favourites, so people seem to be more interested if some of their own favourites get called "overrated". It's the shit-flinging that catches most people's attention in these threads, but I'll play along.

Underrated: Most of 3121 Sex me, Sex Me Not Possessed Feel U Up All of New Power Soul (Any Prince fan worth his salt has a soft spot for this album)
Overrated: Emancipation (the song and the album) TMBGITW Around the World in a Day (sorry P, but Roadhouse Garden was the right move) When U were Mine (I've just never seen the magic) Little Red Corvette 20ten and Lotusflow3r/MPLSound x 1,000 (all of these albums are terrible, embarassing, un inspired, not even interesting crap that needed to be left in the vault) "Prince doesn't have verbal diarrhea, he has studio diarrhea...." Seriously underrated here.
Take Me With U
To me this is song is genius in how effortless the hook and melody flow. I think people hear the "Appolonia" and automatically write it off. But this sounds even more classic and underrated now than ever before. A very cool, happy and sweet song.
All of Purple Rain sounds more genius today than ever before. This song has more fan and artist covers on youtube than a lot of Prince songs. It obviously connects with a lot of people. Me included.
And my favorite, is this version by "The foreign Exchange"
