20Ten is top 5 Prince albums when it comes to rhythm guitar 20Ten is not Prince's best album, but it contains some of Prince's best rhythm guitar licks ever caught on tape. Every lick is classy and his guitar didn't sounded this funky in a long time on albums. As a matter a fact whole 90's decade didn't have Hohner funk guitar.

I prefer Prince's rhythm guitar playing over his soloing. He's definitely in that top 5, and pretty high as well if you'd ask me. I'm glad he started playing those funk patterns again. You mean you're gonna actually hear what we play tonight? You're not gonna make up the notes in your mind?

Agreed! It is one of the things that make me love the 20Ten album. Every Prince tune just needs some of that rhythm guitar, it just makes things instantly funky! RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...
