If Prince did this, then shame on him because the show wasn't all about him and Eric and Mani have the right to go where they want to being that he's an singer too. If Prince didn't do this, then this issue is a dead one and once again Prince would be looking foolish for no good reason.

In the end, no one knows the truth and when all is said and done, do we really want to know? What will it do for us to know what happened in that party? It's just gossip. It doesn't affect me and it doesn't determine how much of a fan I will be of Prince or even Eric Benet based on this article.

He also spoke about using real instruments / musicians generated musicians on this album and how important it is to him.

It's like he doesn't want to come off like he's 'biting' the Prince style or wants to be connected to him but CLEARLY there's a weirdness about it.

I'm sure Prince is glad he has loyal fans, as are most artists. I'm glad too, I have found awesome friends in the Prince community that share a common bond. Some of us are not quick to condemn a man we claim to love. That's good for Prince's sake! And I wasn't referring to you specifically, nor myself, b/c I rarely visit this board and don't attend as many concerts as some folks do. I do own most of his albums because he has great music..which is what counts more than anything else. Including this forum...there is nothing scary about dedicated fans, get over yourself!
