Eric Benet is a musical performer. He's been nominated for several Grammys and knows lots of people in the industry.

He has as much right to be at a pre-Grammy event as anybody else...including Prince. Especially, if he was invited before Prince decided to go.

If this is true and Prince had that man disinvited because he didn't want to be around Mani. He needs to grow the fuck up and so do all y'all that's defending his bullshit!

If he didn't want to be around Mani then his ass in the one that shouldn't have gone. Damn!

it was definitely tacky of Mani to be willing to go. it would be one thing if Prince just happened to be there in any other year, but a good portion of the show and the promotion of it was about honoring Prince.

It was not tacky, but I did find it odd. If that were me (theoretically, 'cause I would never be involved with the type of men she's been with, lol), I wouldn't want to be anywhere near the man, especially if I was aware he would be present beforehand. I would have told Adulterer [Eric]: "Nah brother, you're gonna have to go to that show alone."

No one knows why she divorced Prince, lol. Thinking of it from another perpspective, she just might have known exactly what she was doing by attending.....I mean, based on all the stories, why act like Prince is a victim? As if he's any better than Eric as far as marriages are concerned.

But I don't see any reason why Mani shouldn't have sat through the part where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award, anyway. She was a fan of the man for years before she married him and she WAS married to him.

Personally, I think it would have been tacky and childish for her to get up and leave during that part and everybody up in here would have clowned like hell had she done so.

They're supposed to adults and they do happen to associate within some of the same circles. Because they are divorced, doesn't mean they have avoid each other like the plague.
