Howard Stern Rips "Asshole" Prince Over Kim Kardashian Stunt

After Kim Kardashian got cold feet at a Prince concert this week, she found an unlikely ally in Howard Stern.

Stern, a self-described huge Prince fan, said this morning on his Sirius XM radio show that even though he'll always love the Purple One's tunes, he doesn't like what went down with a nerve-wracked Kim during Monday's show at Madison Square Garden. In fact, the shock jock is so steamed, that he called Prince "f--ked in the head" for the stunt.

And it didn't sound like Stern was joking...

"He seems to be an arrogant asshole lately," Stern said, saying that he loves him as a performer but as a "human being" he's a "scumbag."

"The guy is just weird, he gives concerts with the lights out," he laughed.

Stern felt for Kim, saying Prince "humiliated" her and that she wasn't prepped on what to do or told that she was going to be pulled up on stage in front of the entire crowd.

"She doesn't know what to do. Apparently she's supposed to dance like a stripper for him and she just stood there not knowing what to do. He throws her off the stage because she can't read f--king Prince's mind. He's a bulls--t artist. I'm done with him."

But sidekick Robin Quivers disagreed, saying that Kim goes to concerts just for the attention.

"She shows up to things and leaves after ten minutes after she's put on camera," Quivers argued.

To Kim's credit, she didn't flub her second chance. A few hours later, following an afterparty, she was back on Twitter:

"Went up on stage AGAIN! This time I redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano! Wow! What a night!"

i have been a howard stern fan for years. for once i just can't agree with howard. i witnessed this being at the show. it's a joke! it was hysterical! i'm so sick of this being everywhere! all the gossip news tv shows...tons of blogs and websites! man did this get blown outta proportion!!

It's sad, there always trying to make Prince look like the bad guy. I think people should stop and realize, why the hell are we talking about this again. I just think it displays the ignorance of alot of celebrities in the U.S. You can clearly tell her was joking about it, but I'm pretty sure Prince shook his head and was like dang really? I was just playing around? I guess you have to have a brain to understand the joke. minus most of the celebrities now a days.

First of all, what does he mean she didn't know what to do? If you don't know you're supposed to get your groove on at a concert, you should keep your wide ass at home. You didn't see the first woman needing to be "prepped" to dance.

I agree, it would have been wrong for Prince to expect Kim to "dance like a stripper." One, we all know she can't dance to save her life. Two, she isn't classy enough to even be called a stripper.

Stern is an idiot, it was very clear that Prince was asking for a partner to do "the bump" with. I guess Stern is the kind of man who asks the strippers at the club to do the bump.

Prince may have asshole tendencies, but who the hell is Kim anyway? She's definitely not someone that I would go on the record defending, for any reason. If anything, Kim is an asshole because of the little side comments that she makes in regards to Kourtney and Khloe. She got caught up in her own beauty and assumed that everyone else should be awe-struck in her presence as well. I'm glad the non-event happened...it's one more incidence where she can see that she ain't the shit that she thinks she is.

This is just a case of projection on Stern's parts.

I love Howard Stern, but I don't agree with him on this one. You're Prince and you're doing a show with all kinds of energy on stage. Some chick comes up and stands there like a lump of coal while everyone else is getting their groove on, what are u gonna do? Leave her up there 4 fear of being called an asshole? He didn't put her in any position. She could've said no and stayed in the audience (she would've been better off).
