I seem to remember reading or hearing that when Prince used to have those house parties at his house in LA, that Diddy was in attendance. Did something happen between the two of them? None of us will ever know for sure.

That's a very good question. To be honest, I don't really know the answer to your question. I don't really listen to Diddy's music.
It's typical either that or his is all up in his artist's videos with his no dancing ass
That's true. The artists that he has worked with fizzled out, and never seemed to get very far. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. |

Back in the day, when I was really a die-hard fan, I probably would have cared more than I do now. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. |

The truth is in the middle, i dont think Prince is in the habit of starting beef with artist from the rap community. As a major star he's seen Diddy a lot of places and they are more than cordial. I also believe that there is a coolness or separateness from rappers and modern celebrity just based on talent level and the course to fame. Prince is very old school when you look at his ethic and his approach to maintaining a certain mystery about himself. Prince was one of the last great development jobs when labels actually considered it a part of doing business, Diddy was the product of a more microwaved variety of fame in a more immediate climate. I'm also convinced that people in the highest levels of celebrity KNOW what went down with Biggie and Pac and how much Sean had to do with it. When you look at Diddy and Jay, and their ascension i'm sure people like Prince know a lot more than the average conspiracy theorist out there. So he keeps a safe distance, gives brah dap but never gets too cozy-and i dont blame him. Anybody that would take part in laying a million dollars cash on a strip club floor (in this economy) just to say he did is not someone Prince @ 52 is trying to break bread with. Great post.
I agree. Besides, Diddy can't hold his liquor and has been known to act a fool when drunk. I doubt that Prince would want that type of spectacle, especially while entertaining a lady. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise. |

Good- Diddy is all mouth and no trousers and he doesn't seem to have musical talent.
However, you can't be best mates
with everyone and its not as if he was rude and ignored him - so a bit of a non story LOL.
