I seem to remember reading or hearing that when Prince used to have those house parties at his house in LA, that Diddy was in attendance. Did something happen between the two of them? None of us will ever know for sure.

I just think Diddy needs to know when to stay behind the velvet rope
Guuuuurl, with them big ass cleaver teeth Puffy could've bit right through that rope and been making Prince Ciroc cocktails in no time.
surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water
I ain't felt this way in years...
This probably is a stretch, but maybe Prince isn't cool with Diddy, because of Diddy's song, "Last Night". This song has always reminded me of "When Doves Cry". I know some of you will disagree with me, but this joint has always reminded me of a Prince song. I always was of the opinion that Diddy was copying Prince when he wrote this song.
I see what you're saying about the video/song being strangely similar to WDC. But more importantly, my question is....is this song typical of "Diddy's" work...cause it sucks! IMO.
I'll give you two reasons why Sean Combs is even famous Christopher Wallace and Mary J. Blige The man basically is still getting rich off a Biggie's work long after his death

Hmnnn hearing this ^ , seeing that video and recalling a "few" antics I've heard about as Diddy is concerned, convinces me that he is a fool. No wonder Prince kept a safe distance; no telling what that guy would have done/said...Prince doesn't seem to be about drama he ain't creating himself.

That's a very good question. To be honest, I don't really know the answer to your question. I don't really listen to Diddy's music.

All this is true and like you said unless the drama is Prince created he ain't having it Not to be funny or offensive, but to this day I still believe the Diddy had something to do with the death of Tupac Shakur I mean think about it he did have something to do with the first shooting of Tupac I also think his antics in the background got his cash cow Biggie killed

I also believe that he has something to do with Tupac's death. Not sure about Biggie, but after those kicked the bucket Diddy started to make money like crazy, and became even more famous.

I don't know if your old enough Sweething to remember the first shooting of Tupac? The whole thing was kinda suspicious cuz some of Diddy's folks were the shooters The Drama between Tupac and Biggie was all created by Diddy and Shug Knight-Tupac and Biggie were friends before these two got involved In Tupac's song Hit Em Up he tells you how he use to let Biggie sleep on his couch Actually, that song is the most rage I have ever heard put to music Anyway, Diddy's ass had something to do with both Tupac and Biggie getting killed and he's still profiting off of Biggie

I was never really into alot of rap, but I do remember Tupac and Biggies cuz I was in my 20's when they were rapping. I was a Tupac fan and I still remember the day that Tupac died I was sitting in nursing class and the news came on the radio-we were taking a break and me and another student cried because the whole thing was senseless. Anyway, really before the Tupac/Biggie drama Sean Combs was known, but not that damn famous and as Irinact said after their deaths he became crazy rich. All on award shows fucking up the Police's song fronting like he missed Biggie Have you ever wondered why after all these years they have not found who killed Tupac or Biggie? There's some powerful money behind that to make murder go away Sean Combs
Prince gives Diddy the cold shoulder at Essence's Black Women in Music event
During Monae's performance, both men stood, says our source, and that's when Diddy, who looked sharp in a black suit, tie and patent leather shoes, approached Prince. With the velvet rope between them, he gave the pocket funkster a handshake and a hug. insider, though, Diddy "isn't Prince's kind of guy,"says the source. "He's a lot of flash and dash, and very bragadocious. Prince, believe it or not, is real down to earth. He isn't about all that flossing."
1) They hugged and shook hands, for 2 guys that hardly know each other, that doesn't sound like the cold shoulder.
2) "Bragadocious"? Really? You trust a source that uses the word "bragadocious?"
3) Prince's oral hygiene has no relevance to the story. That being said, dentists universally recommend flossing and brushing at least twice a day.
This and this is why Prince lives in Minneapolis most of the time. The guy's above all this petty bullshit. Do you really think he gives a crap if Eric Benet is in the same room with him? Or if people see him spending time with P. Diddley?
