It depends on the venue. Some venues have a basement under the main floor that can be accessed, others don’t.

The android only takes little while to recharge but the second android is already dressed up with the next playlist and pops up for the next set.

he is rolled up in a large box, useally like a big equipment box, from and to the stage. useally people dont pay attendtion.

I wondered the same thing about the stage. I wasn't sure if the whole symbol stage had space under it or what. It appears that there is a spiral staircase near the opening in the O part that leads down to a small space and hallway where Prince and the band enter and exit. At both the Izod and MSG, that hallway led to a door on the side that then opened up to the venue itself, so Prince and the band would have the backstage area/dressing rooms that the venue provides. They're not changing clothes under the stage.
