I think "Right The Wrong" also has some awful lyrics. At
least, the delivery of those lyrics was so bad that it's the only Prince song to date that I listened to for about 5 or 6 times and then just never ever again. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

Yeah, I think Emancipation has the greatest number of 'ouch' moments, followed by Rainbow Children and One Nite Alone. He doesn't work as hard on his lyrics as he used to, IMHO. Or maybe he's just becoming an old corndawg, I don't know.
Emancipation. . .I mean, it's just whole SONGS. . .Emale and Da Da Da come to mind for sure. . .*gag*. . .all of the none too graceful religous references in RC. . .and in ONA, the aforementioned 'load in the dryer' and 'body fluids' lines in Objects in the Mirror, an otherwise cool song. . ."anyhoo". . ."she's got the ride that I like to ride". . .yikes.
