he wouldn't let kevin smith use his actual songs but he let the time be on and their songs he wrote...so why would he EVER agree to glee? for a second there i thought little man lost his mind and gasp...sold out! 30 secs later i friggin...it's bullshit!!

well the only 2 ppl i know who watch this are my two friends who are dating and they are 30..

well i have to endure this programme cuz my daughter likes it.. this show is like a phenomenom with these kids. she says everyone talks about it the next day. i think prince should let glee have some fun with his songs

Yeah some of my sons friends watch it and they're teens-I don't know any grown folk who watch it

I think it's important to introduce Prince to a much younger generation.

We hear it has been filmed and is set to air March 8th. We have been hearing for a while about “Glee” wanting to do an all Prince episode and were surprised clearance was given for “Kiss”…but it turns out….it wasn’t.

Prince’s people contacted us about the song being used on Glee and we were given this statement;

“The planned performance of Prince’s “Kiss” on Glee is NOT approved by anyone in Prince’s official camp.”

So we now have to wonder, will this “Kiss” ever bee seen or will this be “Never Been Kissed” part 2 for Glee fans?-Dr.FB

Too late, I fear, the makers are retiring the title.

1. I like the show. Most people who dismiss it have never watched it. It's fun light entertainment, take it for what it is. And it covers important issues like the gay character Kurt who has to deal with a homophobic bully who himself is in the closet, repressed and ashamed of himself. First season they covered teen pregnancy and giving the child up for adoption.

2. The music is generally well chosen and fits the characters and vocal styles of the cast. Every artist who has had songs on the show has had a huge boost in catalogue sales. Some have even sold so many records off the back of it that years-old songs have jumped right back to the top of the Billboard because of it.

3. Prince is getting paid. Eminem received something like $300k to allow Glee to use one of his songs.

4. The PR will be great from it and bring Prince new fans who will discover more of his epic catalogue.

5. They don't specifically need his permission to cover the song anyway.
