They said songs. But then again they were chatting shit about Kim Kardashian being kicked off stage and then they mentioned the Glee thing as an after thought.

We pretty much know what they'll be: Kiss, 1999, Purple Rain, maybe Diamonds and Pearls or Little Red Corvette.

Still not enough to make me watch this shit.

Their "Funk" episode last season changed my mind about wanting them to do a Prince tribute a la Madonna.

Im all for a Prince song here and there though.

It's a children's programme, any exposure to an untapped audience is better than none I guess.

At last someone else sees it the way it is. Seriously people, X Factor, Pop Idol, Glee, they're all Saturday night family entertainment and nothing more. And that's family entertainment for families with kids. Like Doctor Who or Merlin over here in the UK.

You want something serious put Radio 4 on or listen to Radcliffe and Maconie on Radio 2. Proper music, proper debate, proper critique.

This annoys me cuz then Prince will be very popualr with teens probably, and i wanna be the only teen on my fb that likes him lol. I couldnt listen to Journey anymore cuz everybody started liking them =/

She’s back! Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow is set to return to the small screen for Fox’s hit TV series “Glee.” According to TVLine, the actress will reprise her role as Holly Holiday on the March 8th episode of the show. She’ll be hitting a couple high notes with co-star Matthew Morrison, while the duo tries to do their best Prince impersonations.

You read that line correctly. Prince aka The Artist aka Prince again, rarely lets anyone use his music but he’s licensed his eighties classic “Kiss” specifically to this show. We hear they’re rendition will be a highly “sexed up” version. Is it possible to be more sexed up than Prince himself? This is the same man who wore ass-less tights to a major awards show.

In terms of the episode’s story, Holiday returns to McKinley High to fill in for the MIA sex ed teacher. And of course, sex ed is a perfect segue to Prince. And just in case you were wondering, yes Holiday and Mr. Schuester will lock lips in the episode. The song blatantly sets the stage for that.

i've only seen commericals for it. definitely not my kinda show. i like house and fringe..stuff like that

Yeah, it also has all those forgettable character actors in the starring roles because there’s nothing to the show but…crappy song covers…

What is Glee? Its cheesy, over the top, inconsistently written, sometimes ridiculously unbelievable, and a little too proud of itself this season. But it's fun.

The songs are indeed the worst part of the show, but they are sometimes surprisingly good (usually when Lea Michele is front and center). When they're bad, they're baaaaaaad, but they always fit the storyline and somehow work. Every genre is covered from R&B to pop, showtunes to country, classics to current top 40. They're at their best when they stay away from the current stuff.

It's not for everyone and I resisted at first, but my daughter made me watch it with her--now it's the one show we all watch together as a family.

It's a feel good show...total escapism.

I have seen several episodes of Glee and I can honestly say that I haven't heard Glee do a half-decent cover.

Yeah, I ain't gonna try to defend the music, but there's been quite a few that I've liked.

For 30 years, Prince's persona has often overshadowed his music. One of the reasons for that is he is associated with basically 2 albums and another hit song or two. As great as 1999, Purple Rain, "Kiss," et al. are, they've become so legendary that a lot of people think those are the only things he's done. It happens to a lot of successful and prolific artists, and it's a shame.

If I really thought Glee were perhaps going to pay tribute beyond the standard hits trotted out for decades, I might be behind it. Nevertheless, if this rumored show sends a new generation of kids to discover the catalogue, that's great.

In my opinion..I don't like the show. I've seen i a couple of times so I know what I'm missing.

We don't all have to like it and I can think the renditions are shit if I want to.

When Prince is not busy kicking Kim Kardashian off his stage, I am sure he watches television just like the rest of us. We wonder if he is a fan of the show “Glee” however.

Gwyneth Paltrow will be returning to the show set at Mckinnley High as Holly Holiday, where she covered Cee Lo’s”Forget You” to rave reviews. She will be teaming with Matthew Morrison to perform “Kiss” by Prince as a duet.

We hear it has been filmed and is set to air March 8th. We have been hearing for a while about “Glee” wanting to do an all Prince episode and were surprised clearance was given for “Kiss”…but it turns out….it wasn’t.

Prince’s people contacted us about the song being used on Glee and we were given this statement;

“The planned performance of Prince’s “Kiss” on Glee is NOT approved by anyone in Prince’s official camp.”

So we now have to wonder, will this “Kiss” ever bee seen or will this be “Never Been Kissed” part 2 for Glee fans?-Dr.FB

this show is so popular with the kids. hope he has a change of heart, it would be a laugh if anything else.

my daughter tells me that anything they do ends up on i tunes. prince could make a few quid on this oppotunity!
