Oldest footage known of Prince performing... The oldest footage I know that exists on film of Prince is form the Dirty Mind Tour. I know of the Paris & New York footage. Is there any more from that period or older than that that exists?

I Wanna Be Your Lover and Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad. He performed the same songs on the tv show Midnight Special as well.

I haven't seen those tv clips in a while. Was it all lip synched, or were the vocals live?

Nope, both AB and Midnight Special were lip synced. His first LIVE tv appearance was on SNL 1981 doing "Partyup"

I know right
It wasn't until a bit later that he started deepeniing his voice on falsetto based songs (ex. When U Were Mine on Makings of Rain, Bambi on March 8? 1982 show, etc), which made it even more interesting. Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!!

I know about TV appearances, but more specifically, I'm wondering of there is any footage of him playing live that is older than the Dirty Mind Paris & New York shows....
