i haven't dipped my toe into all the threads about the cancelled gig yet but from what

i've read on news sites, it wasn't prince who was to blaim for it not happening, right?

but i gather there's some rather negative fall out, some from media but most seems

to be coming form the fan community. surprise, surprise, lol.

i guess if prince wanted to do some damage control, just to shut people up, he could

perhaps release an online EP or something and donate the proceedings to charity.

not saying he has to or he's in some way obliged to but it would probably be a good

way to get some positive publicity from all this. that is, if he had a manager or some

kind of support team to advise him for a change.

like "look people are running their mouth again and here prince just puts out a few

new songs with the proceeds going to the people who were to benefit from the gig

in the first place".

The event's organizer (that Arnold guy) has refuted the claim about Prince being outside the hotel and has said that Prince wasn't there.

The scholarship kids (who aren't really kids) got reimbursed. All the ticket holders got their money back.

Prince may or may not do something nice for the scholarship recipients. The whole thing just happened two days ago. If he does something for them, great. If not, I'm not gonna worry about it.

So...well, that's about it.
