I use to believe in true love. Their was one special person for you. I think Prince sings about it are is mostly looking for the love of god. Can a person bring you closer to god? I still want to believe theirs someone special out there for me, but its getting really hard. I think a closer relationship with god will bring me there. Prince's music really makes me think about this. I feel like a lost child of god in an evil place. I want to believe people are generally good. Or maybe I'm the one that's bad?

Well, you are on the right track. Most of the world tries to figure out what love is, but without the knowledge of the love of God, we never know it because God is Love. Prince expresses that deeper love that everyone desires and searches for in other people. We were created to love on another, have companions and love God. Prince music reflects that very revelation and I have always been in tune with the spiritual side of myself, his music conveys the same tune every spirit dances to while we are ignorant on the outside. God loves us all, you aren't bad we all have flaws about us, but the good thing is God see's perfection in our imperfection through His son. I believe in some of Prince's music, most, it's God speaking through it.

To answer your post all joking aside; I'm sure there have been many songs Prince has made that draw people nearer to the Lord...most recently and most astouding for me is Future Soul Song. Each time I hear it I believe In the ascention the chorus sounds as if Angels are singing.
