A couple of examples of Prince singing about the future are:

"Future Baby Mama," and "Future Soul Song."

Even the songs, "7," "Space," and "New World," have a futuristic concept.

Although science teaches us that "Time is an Illusion," we are still used to time on a linear continuum.

What Time Frame do you think Prince is referring to when he sings about the future?

Is it 2012? 2020? 2079? 3033? or even further down the line?

When is this Future in your mind?

~Advancing into the future seems to move along quickly on a daily basis. "Gold," streets and "Elevators," to the sky do not seem that far off. I don't personally believe we'd have to wait for the "30th" century for these things to come to pass. I'm guessing within the next 50 years.

I do not understand quantum mechanics, only parts of it. These theories suggest the folding of space creating passages between one time and another.

And not just this. The fact that Time slows down in outer space because of not being influenced by gravity. Which allows us to understand that physical reality takes time to manifest from a thought form. "On Earth as it is in Heaven." takes time to ground and solidify. That doesn't change the fact that it existed all along from the beginning.
