Prince in the 80s

In the 80s Prince's distinctive style ushered in several new looks whether the rock star, sexy leading man, or androgynous flavor. Do you agree? Are there other entertainers who you would add that had this sort of influence on fashion, flair or stage presence? Or was Prince the most iconic?

Since apparently y'all won't stop with this foolishness until you get the answer that you're looking for. Here it is...

No. Prince was NOT the most iconic as far as influence on fashion, flair or stage presence in the 80's.

His sense of fashion, flair and stage presence were equal parts of Little Richard, Jimi Hendrix and Rick James that he "adopted" and made his own. The fact that he did it very well is beside the point. shrug

Now there was a superstar in the '80's who was iconic in his influence on fashion, flair and stage presence because his style was all his own and his name wasn't Prince.

.
