So I found a copy of Emancipation used for $6.99, so of course i grabbed it up, so i come home, open the package up, and it only has cd 1 + 3 , odd thing is, is that the middle binding plastic part doesn't look like it was made to hold another cd at all. So, all other Emancipation owners, does your CD2 attach to the middle binder?

Yes, it does.

CD1 attaches to the inside of the front cover, CD2 attaches to the front of the middle binding, and CD3 attaches to the inside of the back cover.

I always make sure to inspect the discs when I buy used CD's at a shop.

There are two songs on CD2 that you don't want to miss out on, Sex In The Summer and Joint 2 Joint.

And The Holy River has a very unique sound when compared to all of Prince's other music.

^^^ Take it back! You were ripped off without CD 2. That has some great songs on it. You should be able to find all 3 CDs at a store for not much. But not this one!

Here are the disc two highlights for me:

1. Soul Sanctuary- gorgeous ballad with a carrabein touch to it

2. The Holy River- Like someone said, a very unique sound with good guitar work

3. Sex In the Summer- A very enjoyable track, would have made a good single

And only Prince can be so creative as to incorporate an actual recording of Gregory's heartbeat into one of the songs (SITS).

call the store and see if you can send it back at their expense... tell them the situation and where you live... don't forget to mention that it was 6.99 and to ship it back with you paying for itwould not be worth it and it was an error on their part... they might oblige and if they don't, don't go back there.

also if you paid on a credit card, call the company and dispute the charge if you really want to

6.99 is not a lot but it is just the point...
