Prince @ the 1986 American Music Awards Hello Orgers, do any of you remember the 1986 AMA's that aired on television on January 27, 1986? P was dressed in a tux, MJ was in a military uniform, Sheena Easton was there as a presenter, so was Sheila E. and Apples. ?, does anyone have any photos of P's seating arrangement? Which one of these elegent ladies was there with him, was it Apples, Sheila or Sheena? Jason | |

That las tpic makes me chuckle every time. Im sittin here after a long nite out on bourbon street, eatintaco bell, buzzed to hell. Anyway love this era. somethin new every week. no internet. full of suprises. Peacew yall. Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. | |

Prince said that he wanted to contribute his vocals, but he ended up waiting too long, and when Quincy told him they were going to record it, Prince offered to play the guitar, which Quincy did not seem to like. So he made a whole new song. I think that's what I remember. | |

Sheila was seen sitting next to the aisle, i think she was with Sir Terry Casey the lead singer of Mazarati.Sheena was in favor at around this time, and there was no way Prince was going to be upstaged by Apollonia's garb.The style was smart and chic not Flash Gordon...ok im guessing but it does make sense... | |
