I know his lyrics are heartfelt and sung with good intentions but there's a time to preach theology and there's a time to groove - this should have been the latter!.

I love this tune - and especially the lyrics. I don't think its preachy at all. x

there are those lines about Moses and the Pharaoh, but they're almost indeceipherable while you're listening. not too bad as far as quasi-relgious, quasi-philisophical non-sequiturs go in otherwise sensible Prince songs.

it is weird how so many otherwise GREAT songs are ruined by bad words, music, or performance...

I'm with you on this one. I don't even have this song on my iPod. I think you hit the mark

with the music is good but there is just something about what he is singing that just doesn't

make any kind of connection for me. I think this might be a case where a lyric like

"I like it when you Dance 4 Me" gets the job done
