With the exception of SOTT (the vignettes of which still were a little corny), plainly, they suck. The plots are contrived, the dialogue is rudimentary, the acting is flat, the direction is poor and -- in the case of Grafitti Bridge -- the production quality is on the level of a high school X-mas play.
But they're campy fun, and for that reason, I love 'em. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Purple Rain- Great movie. Best thing about it was the music. It was Prince in his prime.
Under the cherry moon- Great movie. I liked it a lot. I think the main reason why people didn't like it was because they wereexpecting a i]Purple Rain 2[/i]. I think this is Prince's best attempt at acting. His role really shows his personality (at least when I met him). SOTT-Great concert movie Graffiti Bridge-Terrible. Morris and Jerome are the only thing that makes it worth watching ~KiKi | |
