Would anyone else be willing to fork over, say, 300 USD for a limited edition Prince bible? It would of course be written in Prince-bonics, and I imagine a rather splashy symbol on the cover, with the 'O' in holy being the top of the symbol, then the 'i' in bible being the extension of the symbol.

A brilliant idea, 903755.
I have a feeling these two might make it in (imagine seeing them in a Princely font - )
Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. — Jude 1-7
and of course
Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing.... - Genesis 19:8
I could even see this project (if it came with a limited edition cd) converting a few nefarious sinners over to the faith, just so long as it wasn't too expensive.
No hard feelings. | |

actually Prince is the only Artist, whose interpretation on the Psalms I would like to hear, using only stringed instruments cymbals and tambourine to accompany him musically - perhaps even with some proverbs in his rap-spoken-word style... groovy. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• S(((O)))u¬...._-..-_......_-∆-...••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

3 IN ONE :
These words spake Jesus, & lifted up his eyes 2 heaven, & said, Father, the hour is cum; glorify thy son, that thy son may also glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life 2 as many as thou hast given him. & this is Life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, & Jesus Christ, who thou hast sent.
4 though there b that r called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, ( as there b gods many, & lords many) but to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom r all things, & we in him; & one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom r all things, & we by him.
Blessed b the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according 2 his abundant mercy hath b.gotten us again un2 a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION :
& it came 2 pass the third day, which was pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast un2 all his servants, & he lifted up the head of the chief butler & of the chief baker among his servants. & he restored the chief butler un2 his butlership again; & he gave the cup in2 pharaoh's hand; but he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted 2 them.
But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced b4 them & pleased Herod. Whereupon he promised with an oath 2 give her whatsoever she would ask & she being B4 instructed of her mother said Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger. & the king was sorry : nevertheless 4 the oath's sake, & them which sat with at meal, he commanded it 2 b given her. & he sent, & beheaded John in the prison. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• S(((O)))u¬...._-..-_......_-∆-...••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

3 WISE MEN (astrologers):
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east 2 Jerusalem, saying: "Where is he that is born king of the jews ? 4 we have c'n his star in the east & r cum 2 worship him." When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, & all Jerusalem with him. & when he gathered all the chief priests & scribes of the people 2gether, he demanded of them where Christ should b born. & they said un2 him: In Bethlehem of Judaea: 4 thus it is written by the prophet, & thou Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, art not the least among princes of Judah: 4 out of thee shall cum a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. Then Herod, when he had the privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. & he sent them 2 Bethlehem & said, Go & search diligently 4 the young child; & when ye have found him, bring me word again, that may cum & worship him also. When they had heard the king, they departed; & lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went b4 them, till it came & stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. & they were cum in2 the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, & they fell down & worshipped him : & when they had opened their treasures, they presented un2 him gifts; gold & frankincense & myrrh. & being warned by God in a dream that they should not return 2 Herod, they departed in2 their own country another way. & when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth 2 Joseph in a dream, saying : "Arise & take the young child & his mother, & flee in2 Egypt, & b thou there until bring thee word: 4 Herod will seek the young child 2 destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child & his mother by nit, & departed in2 Egypt: & was there until the death of Herod: that it might b fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying: "Out of Egypt have called my Son" Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was xceeding wroth & sent 4th, & slew all the children that were in Betlehem, & in all the coasts thereof, from two years & under according 2 the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.
