Hello. Hi. I would like to introduce myself as a new member.

I am a music lover. I have been a Prince fan for many years. I recently got a copy of "2010" and I love it. "Future Soul Song," is exceptionally beautiful. Prince's voice is Heavenly.

I was curious to know if Prince actually controls this website or comes to the site to talk with his fans.

I understand that famous people are very hard to get ahold of but I was wondering what approach I should take to contact Prince personally.

I would be lying if I said that I didn't find Prince attractive and wish that he were available, but who am I kidding? That is the private dream of a million girls.

I actually have a professional intention. I need an investor for a project I am considering.

How possible is it for me to arrange a private meeting with Prince? Sincerely, 0ne0n0ne

Prince does not control the site nor does he come here. Well, actually he probably does come here but he does not make himself known or interact.

How possible is it for you to arrange a meeting with Prince? If you don't know anyone that knows him or any of his team personally, I would say that it would be extremely difficult.

You could try sending a letter to Paisley Park. Probably your best bet.

^ It was suggested in an older thread that he did once come here & post regularly, however it was never proved one way or the other. I suppose he would or one of his members of staff would.

Just contact his lawyer or agency to contact him. That's the right way. Oh yeah, you might have to get a lawyer to send in your inquiry on your behalf too. At least that's how it works cold calling in Hollywood.

I am not the sneaking in type. I do have confidence in something that would take a lot more than one investor to accomplish.

If they did out of curiosity, I'm quite sure he or his person would never come again because of all the hate that is spewed here by his "so called" fans. I know it's sad... the many times I've joined, quit and rejoined.... I kept expecting things to change. Unfortunately, most of the problems are started by the guys who have been here the longest. They know too much supposedly, and do not tolerate new people asking simple questions or starting threads on subjects that have already been covered. It just shows their ignorance, though... because when someone does post a new thread, they gang up on these people when all they have to do is be civil and perhaps answer someone's question that "may" only take 5 seconds to do... instead they go on a tirade about how it's a dup thread, look up the answers yourself... yada yada yade. Real good way to make new friends, huh?

Whether it is this site or many of the other Prince sites, it is the same story. These "fans" who can't tolerate new people asking questions, etc... yet they are here every minute of every day... arguing with each other and newbies. This is why I think if Prince were to come here, he would read some of their comments and say "okay.... time to go". I believe Prince probaby stated the Internet was dead after visiting this site and reading the comments of the "regulars". He probably thought these people MUST have no lives because they answer or comment on every thread, every day and multiple times per thread. Love 4 One Another??? Huh, I don't think so.

Now... don't get me wrong. There are some decent people on here who love the music and don't pick apart everything he does. Some here haven't liked anything since Purple Rain, which begs the question..................................... lmao.

For those who are considerate enough here, they will answer new member's questions and/or explain things to them... not sit back in their little dark caves and group up together and make fun of other members. Like I said... simply childish.

Hope you have a funky time here, and by the way... just ignore some of the ones {you'll find out who they are very quickly)...that comment with negativity towards U. In fact, if you read this thread again, there should be someone dissing me for the things that I've said... but all the cool people will agree with me.

He hasn't done much to foster a family feeling around here, considering the cease & desist letters and threats to sue the site owner over people linking to youtube videos or hosting pictures of him.

I don't understand very much about the laws that protect a musician. I'd like to learn.
