Does anyone have or know about videos or documentary's or interviews where prince talks about his production techniques, his choice of sounds and mixing. It's very big part of his unique sound and something I know very little about, apart from obviously from what one can deduce just by listening to the music of course. I know he is famous for not liking doing interviews, but surely this is something he would talk about without having to worry about exposing his private life and prying questions etc..

Actually the closest I can think of is his interview in the bass player magazine. It was in princeinprint, (but that's now gone?).

Thanks for that, an interesting read, not quite what I was hoping for though, more interesting in his studio goings on. Sounds like Prince is nightmare to interview.
