Prince gotta be a mf great musician. Not many musicians could have a career like that when always doing the opposite of what people want him to do. He even did it in his best years in the 80s, still doing it, but with less classic material. It's like the song Eye Hate U. That kinda relationship Prince fans has to their favourite artist. Like they're being married to him, and he is being with somebody else.

not me. I always praise him for his amazing music. Although i think constructive criticism is a good thing. Bashing someone isnt.

Real fans of peoples music will offer constructive crit. as to why they like AND don't like peoples music. simply saying "I don't like it" (in particular) unjustified, is just nonsense.

This is because some of the old, bitter ones are bored with him and decide to pick on him instead of praise him for a quick laugh. I guess it's more fun than the usual goo-goo-gaa-gaa they've been doing for the past 25+ years over him and his music

Prince has been insulting his fans for years. Go watch the 1996 VH1 special (which depicts a stalker fan), or go read some of the insults he directed towards his fans. Dude got upset with the word "fans", ferchrissake.

He is pseaking about the Love 4 1 Another special which aired only on VH1. It depicts a stalker fan who breaks into Paisley Park and goes to Prince's office and watches his music videos or some shit. It's typical, barely-there plotting like he would do with the album plot and the plot behind The Undertaker and The Beautiful Experience.

Well my opinion is there is no manual for a musician to be socially correct. They are human and as much as they love music or even performing..it probably gets a bit much for them at times...I would hate to be under a microscope all the time without privacy in anything. It probably drives him nuts and it probably just depends on what day you catch him on if you have a good experience...or not..As I said before it must be hard as hell to be 'on' and 'happy' all the time...
