Prince playing during Miss America?

I'm watching the Miss America pagent there are beauty-based songs playing in the background as the girls come out and strut there stuff. And I'm wondering if they have ever played any of Prince's songs in the background, especially The Most Beautiful Girl in the World? Hope so! wink

Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! biggrin

In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!!

The song was played during the Miss America pageant in 1994, but not in full. It was widely advertised in news and trade magazines that a new song from Prince would be premiered on the pageant. The ads had Prince sitting in a chair with a hat pulled down over his face, and Mayte standing next to his chair. The song was later released on February 24, 1994.
